Singapore has a population of 5.6 million, comprising 3.5 million citizens and permanent residents. 10% of these people are food insecure.

350,000 people in Singapore are unable to afford food, clothing, shelter and other basic essentials.1

Because of limited income opportunities, these Singaporeans rely heavily on cheap, processed foods and are unable to afford sufficiently nutritious food.
