No group can do everything on their own. That is why we work closely with various partners.
Our main partner is YiHong Enterprise Trading (2009). YiHong is a minimart located at 24 Desker Road. Like other minimarts in that area, it sells vegetables and meat to the Bangladeshi community in Singapore. Among other things, YiHong supports SG Food Rescue by sponsoring the use of a truck to carry out our operations.
We also partner with soup kitchens and charity organisations that feed the needy. That is because we rescue so much food that we have no choice but to find organisations that can absorb the food.
Krishna’s Kitchen provides free vegetarian food to anyone who walks in. It also prepares and supplies 800 meals every week to old folks’ homes in Singapore. Every week, we supply about 500kg of vegetables for the meals they cook.
Free Food For All is a charity that provides free halal meals to Singaporeans who are hungry and qualify for their assistance programmes. What we like is that they provide relief by fulfilling a basic human need for food and empower their beneficiaries to take action and raise themselves out of poverty. Two to three times monthly, we supply about 1000kg of food each visit to its beneficiaries.
Beyond Social Services is a charity dedicated to helping children and youths from less privileged backgrounds break away from the poverty cycle. Once a month, we supply about 500kg of food to its beneficiaries.
Food From The Heart is a charity that reaches out to the less fortunate and brightens their lives through a food distribution programme and brings joy through the distribution of toys and birthday celebrations. Once a month, our volunteers combine efforts to rescue about 3000kg of food for our Food Recipients.
Now see what we do.
