We run Veggie Rescue Missions at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre every Thursday and last Saturday of the month.
In this programme, we work as a team to approach vendors at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre to ask for produce that they do not want. This means introducing SG Food Rescue and explaining why we collect these. All Food Rescuers are expected to talk to vendors and to work together to carry the produce back. The majority of the collection gets channelled to soup kitchens and charitable organisations that feed the needy.
Missions start at 9:45am and end at 1.00pm for Food Rescuers. For Organisers and Drivers, Thursday missions end at 3.30pm and 2.00pm on Saturdays.
